Condolence From: Debbie & Gerald Barr
Condolence: Mavis, Bob & Lorie,
We wish to send you our condolences at the passing of your mom. We all remember Reta as a sub at school however I was also very lucky to spend time with Lorie at home. Your Mom was awesome. We had a lot of good times together. There is one dainty that I associate with your mom every time I see it. It has brown sugar icing. It has been a lot if years since we followed the tracks and walked out to the farm but I still remember those times with great fondness. Take care of each other and treasure the memories well. Hugs.

Condolence: Dear Mavis Bob Lorie and families, Please accept my sincere sympathy with the loss of your dear mother RETA. RETA was one of a kind a loving wife an amazing mother a proud mother-in-law doting grandma and a true and loyal friend! She cared for your Dad with the greatest of love and her dedication to family and friends was a truly wonderful gift! She and your Dad were wonderful friends to our family-the WOOD family that lasted for many many years! Lots of adventures cherished memories and social times were shared together! As I think back numerous times shared in your home at the farm a small house filled with so much love and care- lots of CHRISTMAS eve celebrations as I remember over the years fun lots of fun! Even after Joanne and I left home RETA was always interested in our lives! She continued to be a true and very valued friend to my mom as Dad passed she was always there even up to moms passing she opened her home to us the day of the funeral and her many acts of kindness never went unnoticed to us! Even though years have passed we still thought of her often! I do cherish these memories so much and I have been thinking of so many of them since hearing of her passing they have made me smile a lot today! You Mavis Bob and Lorie have cared well for MOM these last few years so hugs to you all!
