Obituary

Passed away at the Notre Dame Hospital on Wednesday September 11, 2019 at the age of 89 years, Angele Mary Agnes Graham (nee Mannens), of Holland MB.

Angele leaves to mourn her husband Don, sons Ron (Bev) & Rob (Charlene) of Holland, grandchildren Scott (Dayna), Trevor, Tyler (Carla), Brett and Reid (Brittany) and by great grandchildren Carter & Clara. She is also survived by her brother Charles Mannens of Treherne, in-laws Gerry McMannis of Holland, Wayne Graham of Cypress River, Delores (Wayne) Early of Pratt as well as numerous extended relatives & friends.
Angele was predeceased by her grandson Derek Graham, parents Wilfried & Rachel Mannens, father & mother-in-law Lloyd & Edna Graham, brother-in-law Jim McMannis and by sister-in-law Judy Graham.

Born and raised in the Bruxelles area, Angele grew up helping her parent’s farm. Her marriage in 1954 to Don moved her north of Holland, where she lived on the farm for 65 years. Angele was a hard worker and enjoyed the farm life. She took great pleasure in her garden, her yard and having her door always open for company, a coffee, and a meal. Visiting cousins in Belgium was one of her highlights, including their return visits to Holland.
In later years, Angele and Don enjoyed morning coffee outings, playing cards and visits with friends and relatives.
Her special joy was her grandsons and she treasured the time and years spent with them. She managed to keep up with their lives using Facebook and email.

Funeral Liturgy Service was held on Monday September 16, 2019 in the St. John Berchmans Catholic Church, Holland with Father Jose Montepeque as Celebrant.
Prayers & Eulogy commenced at 10:20 am followed by the service at 11:00 am. Interment took place in the St. John Berchmans Parish Cemetery.
Following the interment, a reception was held in the Holland Community Hall.

Friends that so wish, memorial donations can be made in Angele's memory to the Holland & Area Community Foundation, Box 87 Holland MB R0G 0X0, or to Central Plains Cancer Care, 318 E Saskatchewan Ave, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0K8.
