We are so sad to hear of Ken McCloy's passing. Ken was a dear friend to my Mum during their 10 or more years of apartment life in Glenboro's Glenhaven Manor. They cooperated to do multiple small maintenance tasks around the Manor for the benefit of the residents: they changed the salt in the soft water tank, they took care of the residence recycling, they gardened and composted, they collected stray beer bottles and donated the returns to charities - and teased each other about their (non) drinking habits. Ken shovelled the walks and fed the birds, to the delight of others who so enjoyed the benefits of his labour. When Mum moved into the Personal Care Home, Ken was the kind friend who came to visit regularly - what a blessing! And when Ken moved into the Personal Care Home, we were so happy to know that Ken was just down the hallway, and would enjoy all the comforts of home and care and friendship he so merited. He was a gentle, loving, faithful friend and we loved him and miss him. Our sincere sympathy to Mr. McCloy's family and friends.

Sincerely,
Susan LeBlanc and Daisy Steer

Thinking of all of you on Ken's passing. Ken was a great neighbour, lived down the road from where I grew up. He would stop in often at my parents' (Ken & Shirley Dowd) for coffee & a visit. Treasure all the memories. Hugs Rick Sue Brent Krista & Henry
