Passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg MB, on Thursday August 7, 2014 at the age of 93 years, Alice Rita Lussier (nee Vermeersch), of Glenboro MB. Alice leaves to mourn her passing her children Don (Michelle) of Lethbridge AB, Tracy (Bonnie) of Calgary AB, Bonnie Mae Lussier of Winnipeg, grandchildren Marc & Laura; sisters-in-law Esther Vermeersch of Baldur MB, Henriette Benjamin of St. Norbert MB, Juliette Lussier of Baldur, brothers-in-law Albert Lussier of Belmont & Andrew Lussier of Winnipeg as well as numerous nieces, nephews & extended relatives. Alice was predeceased by her husband Amedee in 2004, parents Joseph & Florence Vermeersch, brother Homer Vermeersch & by a sister Bessie Janes. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held in the St. James Catholic Church, Baldur MB, on Saturday August 16, 2014 at 11:00 am, with Father Phillip Malayil as Celebrant. Prayers & Eulogy will take place at 10:30 am prior to Mass. Interment will take place in the Glenboro Cemetery, followed by a reception to be held in the Baldur Memorial Hall. Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Alice's memory to the Ducks Unlimited of Canada, Box 1160, Stonewall MB R0C 2Z0 or to the St. James Catholic Church, Baldur MB R0K 0B0 or to a charity of choice.
