Aline Van Cauwenberghe of Winnipeg, formerly of Swan Lake, Manitoba passed away on Friday, June 26, 2015, at the Victoria Hospital in Winnipeg, MB at the age of 92 years. Left to mourn Aline's passing are her daughters Lauraine Sumner, Dolores (Ronald) De Jaegher, and Corlyse DeMare, sons Wayne (Diane) and Allen (Marlene) Van Cauwenberghe, daughter-in-law Adeline Van Cauwenberghe, 21 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, sisters Celestine Sierens and Elsie (Slim) Boulet, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Aline was predeceased by her husband Henry, daughter Donna (Ernie) Van Caeyzelle, son Larry Van Cauwenberghe, sons-in-law Gorden Sumner and Camille DeMare, grandson Corey Van Cauwenberghe, sister Cecile Pizzo, brother Kelly Goethals and parents Maurice & Martha Goethals. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from the St. Timothy Catholic Church, 135 John Forsyth Rd. Winnipeg, MB at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2015, Father Phil Daley celebrant. Private family interment will be held in the St. Martin of Tours Parish Cemetery, Swan Lake, MB. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Aline's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
