Passed away at the Baldur Health Centre on Friday August 10, 2018 at the age of 99 years, Anna Van Den Bussche (nee Buydens), of Holland MB. Anna leaves to mourn her passing her three children Elaine Van Den Bussche of Winnipeg, Elmer Van Den Bussche (Rose Yahnke) also of Winnipeg, Reta Overton of Holland, grandchildren Dean Van Den Bussche (Jackie Lagimodiere), Nicole Van Den Bussche, Lucien Van Den Bussche; six great grandchildren Ashley, Ali, Chris, Jamie, Alexis & Taylor, two great grandchildren Chase & Axel as well as numerous extended relatives. She was predeceased by her husband Lucien in 1973, parents Frederick & Clarisse Buydens, sister Clara (Gerry) DeBacker, brothers Hubert (Margaret), Marcel (Mariette) & Gaston as well as by numerous nieces, nephews & in-laws. Mom was born to Frederick & Clarisse Buydens on May 28, 1919 in the St. Alphonse District where she was raised with her brothers Hubert, Gaston, Marcel & sister Clara. At a young age she went & helped different relatives during the summer. She went to Grange School. She married Lucien Van Den Bussche on October 26, 1949 and moved to the farm located north of Swan Lake where they raised their three children, Elaine, Elmer & Reta. She lost her husband Lucien in August of 1973. In 1977 Anna & her mother moved to Holland where she resided until 2017. Due to ill health she resided in the Baldur Health Centre until her passing on Friday August 10, 2018. We thank the staff of Treherne & Baldur Health Centre's for the care of our mother. Prayers will be held on Friday August 24, 2018 at 7:30 PM in the Jamieson's Holland Chapel, Holland MB. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday August 25, 2018 at 2:30 PM at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Swan Lake MB with Father Vincent Lusty as Celebrant. Interment will take place in the St. Martin of Tours Parish Cemetery. Following the interment, a reception will be held in the Swan Lake Community Hall. Everyone is welcome. Friends that so wish, memorial donations can be made in Anna's memory to a charity of choice.
