Arni Raymond "Butch" Taft (b. June 6, 1946) of Glenboro Manitoba, passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre on Monday April 4, 2016 with family by his side. Arni is survived by his loving wife Kathie (nee Hall), his sister Bev (Bob) Weinard of Prince George B.C., brother Gerry (Yvonne) Taft of Prince George, sisters-in-law Marnie (Doug) McNiven of Winnipeg, Barb Abrams of Mississauga ON., Pat (David) Garner of Blue Mountains, ON., & by several nieces, nephews and great nephews. He was predeceased by his parents DuWayne & Esther (nee Josephson), brother Donald Taft, parents-in-law Charlie & Norma Jane Hall and by brother-in-law Larry Abrams. Respecting Arni's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Friends that so desire, in lieu of flowers memorial donations can be may be made in Arni's memory to the Glenboro & Area Foundation, Box 147, Glenboro MB R0K 0X0 or to a charity of choice.
