Passed away at the Tri Lake Health Centre in Killarney, MB, on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the age of 87 years, Bertha Buote of Baldur, MB.

Bertha leaves to mourn her passing her daughter Pamela Buote of Mitchell, MB, grandchildren Rhonda Harland, Rachael Harland, Michelle (Quintin) Popp, Adam Buote and Jesslyn Buote, and great grandchildren Preslie, Declan, Titius and Phoebe Popp as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Bertha was predeceased by her husband, William Buote, sons Perry and Patrick Buote, parents Kristjan and Barbara (nee Morriseau) Sigurdson, brother Lionel Sigurdson, and sisters Patsy Huntus, Dolly Schihl, Doris Muhlenbruch and Janice Booth.

Bertha’s family will celebrate her life privately.
