Bertha Grift of the Foyer in Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB, formerly of Swan Lake, MB passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015, at the Notre Dame Hospital in Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB at the age of 89 years. Left to mourn Bertha's passing are her son Robert (Lorraine) Grift of Swan Lake, MB, daughter Arlene Lee of Holland, MB, grandchildren Sherri (Derek), Tannys, Patti (Gerald), Kristi (Trevor), Rick (Lisa), Lori (Trevor), Kim (Rob), and Jason (Dawne), and great-grandchildren Kyle, Ryan, Tamara, Cody, Nic, Adam, Tyler, Kaylem, Vanessa, Kane, Evan, Charlie, Emily, Natalie, Jersey, Ally, Rhett and Kolt. Also left to mourn Bertha's passing are her sisters-in-law Victorine Cousin, Cecile Cousin and Josephine Cousin, as well as numerous nieces & nephews. Bertha was predeceased by her parents Jules Cousin (1944) and Zulma (nee Knockaert) Cousin (1963), parents-in-law Mattys (1956) and Gertrude Grift (1963, husband Dave Grift (1994), infant son Ernest Grift (1953) and son-in-law Don Lee (2008), as well as all of her brothers and sisters, and numerous brothers & sisters-in-law. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Swan Lake, MB at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2015. Father John Te Nguyen celebrant. Prayers and Eulogy will take place prior to Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in the St. Martin of Tours Parish Cemetery.
