It is with incredible sadness that we announce the passing of Bryan Pryde Watson, age 65 of Treherne, MB. He passed away peacefully in his sleep, on March 3, 2014, in Calgary, Alberta. He spent the evening before with friends and family and went to sleep with a smile on his face. Bryan was born in Treherne, MB on November 1, 1948 to parents Martin & Alice Watson. He spent his life in Treherne, working as a carpenter. Bryan married Doreen Wilks on November 8, 1969. Bryan loved playing the piano with different bands throughout Manitoba, sharing his love of music and entertainment with so many. His passion for country music was something that he carried through his life. Always had the radio playing, listening with an open heart. As a talented carpenter, his work can been seen in many homes and will be treasured forever. Spending many days and nights working in his shop, listening to music, enjoying creating memories out of wood. His shop was a gathering place for friends and family. The hub for hunting, a home of memories now. Time spent in his yard, out on the golf course, fishing with friends, were all ways he liked to spend his time. The love for his family was something that was felt through each of us without any doubts. Doreen was his high school sweetheart, his life partner. Together they raised a beautiful family, he was an absolute loving Grampa who cherished his grandchildren and loved watching each of them grow up, finding humour in each of their uniquenss. Bryan and Doreen spent the last couple years having extended holidays in Mexico. A time he loved, gentle easy days at the beach. It comforts us to know the last of his time was with such happiness. He will always be remembered for his warm smile and patience for everything he did and everyone in his life. Bryan will forever be remembered by his wife, Doreen. His son, Jay (Catherine & Clayton) Daughter, Candace (Bryan, Christopher, Abbey, Ava & Sadie) Brother Melvin (Margaret). Mother, Alice, as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
