Passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital on Tuesday November 15, 2016 at the age of 61 years, Claire Alice Smart (nee Litton), of Altamont MB. Claire leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband Don, sons Brad Smart of Altamont & Trevor (Laura) Smart of Treherne, daughter-in-law Janine Smart of Miami MB, five grandchildren Dylan, Kristin, Kadyn, Owen & Evan; sisters Marilyn (Gary) Vigar of Holland & Joanne (Ron) Jamault of Rathwell; sisters & brothers-in-law Marion Smart of Edmonton, Scott (Nancy) Smart of Treherne, Keith (Dona) Smart of Holland as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Claire was predeceased by her son Gary in October 2016, parents Jack & Joyce Litton, father & mother-in-law Bob & Margaret Smart & by brother-in-law Harry Smart. A Celebration of Claire's life will be held on Monday November 21, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Rathwell Memorial Hall with Rev. Alison Halstead officiating. A private family interment will take place in the Woodlands Cemetery. Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Claire's memory to the Autism Society of Manitoba, 825 Sherbrook St. Winnipeg, MB R3A 1M5.
