Passed away at the Tiger Hills Health Centre, Treherne MB, on Tuesday July 28, 2015 at the age of 75 years, 16 days, Donalda Alice Purkess (nee Good), of Austin MB. Donalda leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband Norman, daughters Jean Rugg (George) of Portage la Prairie, Shirley Purkess (good friend Dean Bieganski) of Treherne, Karen Darichuk (Danny) of Portage la Prairie; grandchildren Ashley Lederer (Riley), Tosha Hotel, Erin Purkess (Richard Legault), Scott, Tyler, Mason & Abigail Darichuk, two great grandchildren Shaylynn Purkess & Hunter Legault; she is also survived by her sister Yvonne Eastguard (good friend Bill) & Gail McKay (Don), as well as numerous extended family members. Donalda was predeceased by her daughter Kathleen Purkess, parents Berard & Jean Good, sister Mavis Purkess & by brother-in-law Hans Eastguard. A Celebration of Donalda's life will be held on Friday July 31, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the Austin Community Hall with Sandra Rex officiating. A private family interment will take place in the Sidney Cemetery, Sidney MB. Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Donalda's memory to the Sidney Cemetery Fund, c/o Joan Manns, Box 72 Sidney MB R0H 1L0 or to a charity of choice.
