Passed away at the Baldur Personal Care Home on Sunday April 14, 2024 at the age of 84 years, Dorothy May Myers (nee Acorn), of Belmont, MB.

Dorothy was born September 10, 1939 at Belmont where she received her schooling and had many friends. On October 19th, 1957 she married Irving Bryan Myers and together they farmed and operated a dairy as well as drove a school bus for a number of years. Mom worked hard all her life and she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her horses and enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren compete in various events.  She loved her dogs, enjoyed flowers and birds.

Dorothy is survived by three daughters; Terry (Larry) Canada, Laurie (Tim) DeKezel, Vickie (Robert) Kerr and their families as well as sisters, brother in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Irving "Squeak" (2009), parents William & Kathleen Acorn, son Dale (1996) and grandson Kylie Canada (2016).

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, July 15, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Hillside Cemetery, Belmont MB. Reception to follow at the Belmont Community Hall. Everyone is welcome.
