Passed away at the Bayside Personal Care Home in Killarney on Sunday September 27, 2015 at the age of 77 years, Eileen Christina Clemis (nee Schmidt), formerly of Glenboro MB. Eileen was born March 26, 1938 in Winnipeg, the third child to Charlie & Lydia Schmidt, & went to school until grade 6 at Pine Ridge MB. She went to work at the Ramada Inn in Winnipeg in the laundry department & later on worked at Landark Towers. Eileen married Jim Clemis of Glenboro in 1975 & they moved south of Glenboro where together they had a mixed farm. She enjoyed reading & listening to music and the many visits with family & friends. Eileen leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband Jim, sisters Bernice (Hugo) Loeb of Beausejour MB & Audrey (Henry) Schmidtke also of Beausejour and brother Clifford (Doreen) Smith of Oakbank MB. Eileen was predeceased by her parents Carl & Lydia Schmidt. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday October 6, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Glenboro Cemetery with Helen Delorme officiating. Friends that so desire, memorial donations may be made in Eileen's memory to a charity of choice.
