On the evening of Wednesday October 7, 2020, Buddy peacefully went to meet our Lord and Saviour surrounded by family at the Claresholm General Hospital. Buddy is survived by his 4 children: Kerry (Lou), Rod (Lorrie), Curtis and Andrea (Chris McMurter). He has 10 grandchildren: Ben (Mel), Corey, Jeff, Brady (Krista), Erik, Sonja Ross (Cody), Dana, Joey Kalnay, Alex Kalnay and Molly McMurter. He also has 6 great grandchildren: Max, Frankie, Hayden, Lia, Summer and Kayden. He had a dynamic personality that touched many lives by pastoring and teaching. He was involved in education for 49 years and taught students from kindergarten to university in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia. Buddy was called to serve as a missionary in Rhodesia, South Africa, Kenya and Lesotho. He loved to share the message of the Lord with all he met. He loved music and played several instruments including the piano, organ and accordion. He also loved painting, writing and playing board games. A Celebration of Buddy's life will be held on Monday October 12, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the Claresholm Pentecostal Assembly Church, Claresholm, AB. Interment service will take place at the Hillside Cemetery, Belmont, MB, on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 1:00 pm Buddy was a dedicated Teen Challenge supporter.
