Passed away at the Riverview Health Centre on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at the age of 73 years, Eric Cyriel August Plaetinck, of Headingley, MB, formerly of Glenboro, MB.

Eric leaves to mourn his cherished wife Candy (nee Christie) and his children; son's Cole (Juanita) of Swan River, MB & Clark (Abby) of Headingley, MB, daughter Brooke (Vince) Lim of Winnipeg, MB, grandchildren Jaxon, Beckham, Kinsley, Kade, Jett (†) & Kaia.

He is also survived by his brother Willy (Christine) of Winnipeg, MB, sister Marie Bray of Langenburg, SK, three sisters-in-law Joan Plaetinck of Beausejour, MB, Diane Plaetinck of Winnipeg, MB, Irene Plaetinck of Winkler, MB, as well as numerous nieces, nephews & many friends.

Eric was predeceased by his grandson Jett, parents Rene & Clara Plaetinck, and by brothers John, George & Paul.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Glenboro Cemetery, with Sharon Hamilton officiating.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

Following the interment, a reception Celebration of Life service will be in the Glenboro Kinsmen Hall.
