Passed away at his home in Holland, MB on Monday, August 25, 2025 at the age of 36 years, Gerald Joseph Grift, of Holland, MB.

Gerald leaves to mourn his passing his parents Barb (nee Nelson) and Harvey Grift of Holland, MB, sister Melissa (Stephen) Benham of Yarmouth, NS, grandma Laura Grift of Holland, MB, Aunts and uncles Pat (Garry), Jack, Harold (Sue), Bob (Nancy) Gordon (Brenda), Marj (Terry) and Deb, cousins Kevin, Amanda (Macy), Leona, Lisa, Holly, Bonnie, James (Kim), Jeff (Cathryn), Corey (Ashley), Bryce (Janette), Christopher (April), Courtney (Ben), Cody (Jacki), and Cameron (Julianna), second cousins Sierra, Marley, Adrian, Austin (Prin) Roman, Callum, Julie, MaryLou, Janessa, Abigail, Brooklyn, Hannah, Tanner, Whitley , Ali, Landen, Caleb, Zane, Hayden, Clay (Evelyn), Tyson, Lucas, Logan, Laszlo, Junior, Alyssa (Jayden), Colton, Landon, Tenley, Ali, Deklyn, Hunter and Beau, as well as numerous extended relatives & friends.

Gerald was predeceased by his grandparents Gerald Grift and Mae (nee Denbeigh) and Joe Nelson, Aunt Betty Nelson and cousin Justin Nelson.

Viewing and visitation will be held at Jamieson's Funeral Services Holland Chapel from 7:00 – 8:00 pm, Monday September 1, 2025. Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Austin Cemetery, Austin, MB. Heather Grobb officiating.  Lunch to follow at the Austin Community Hall.

A Walk for Muscular Dystrophy in memory of Gerald will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025 beginning at the Holland Fair Grounds at noon.
