Funeral Service - Jim Crans

With family by his side, James "Jim" Crans of Burlington ON & Glenboro MB, passed away on Thursday June 29, 2023 at the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre at the age of 87 years.

Jim leaves to mourn his passing his loving partner Shirley Dowd (nee Clemis), sons Mike (Janice) of Bass Lake, ON, Dave (Marnie) of Sedona, AZ, John (Debra) of Burlington, ON; grandchildren Sarah (Daryll), Sean (Abbey), Kyle (Laurence), Kate, Keenan and Chenoa; and great grandchildren Riann, Maisie, Benjamin, Charlotte, Sevin, Madox, Skylee, Bodhi, Koa and Tallulah.

He is also remembered by his brother Ron (Mary) Crans of Burlington, ON, nieces and nephews Candy, Bunny, Tracey and Sonny, in-laws Mel (Sandra) Clemis of Stonewall, MB, Ruth (Brent) Denham of Winnipeg, MB, Shannon (Verna) Clemis of Carman, MB, Gary (Elaine) Pilloud of Brandon, MB as well as numerous nieces, nephews & extended family.

Jim was predeceased by his wife Jackie DeForge, parents Henry & Eva Crans, sister Ida & Fred Lockhart and by niece Lorraine Crans.

A Celebration of Jim's life was held on Friday July 7, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the Glenboro United Church with Sandra Rex officiating.

A second Celebration of Life will be held at the Grace United Church, 2111 Walkers Line, Burlington Ontario, on Tuesday July 25, 2023 at 12 noon.  Interment will be held prior to the service at 11:00 am in the Burlington Memorial Cemetery.
