Suddenly at his residence on Thursday July 28, 2016, James George "Jim" McDonald of Belmont MB, passed away at the age of 84 years. Jim leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Mary-Anne (nee Desautels), sisters Dorothy Campbell of Belmont & Betty MacCumber of Minitonas MB as well as numerous nieces, nephews & extended relatives. Jim was predeceased by parents Russell & Laura McDonald and by twin sisters in infancy. A Celebration of Jim's life will be held on Thursday August 4, 2016 at 1:00 pm in the Willmor Chapel, Glenboro MB with Sharon Hamilton officiating. A private family interment will take place in the Hillside Cemetery, Belmont. Immediately following the service, a reception will be held in the Belmont Community Hall. Everyone is welcome. Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Jim's memory to a charity of one's choice.
