Passed away at the Tiger Hills Health Centre on Thursday April 20, 2017 at the age of 92 years, Geraldine Joan Barkwell, of Treherne MB. Joan leaves to mourn her passing her daughter Joanne & husband Les Pritchard of Treherne, four grandchildren Lee (April), Tristan (Jenny), Bree (Andrew) & Jamie; five great grandchildren Keaghan, Dayle, Reid, Christopher & Victoria as well as extended family & friends. Joan was predeceased by her husband Dalton, son Grant, grandson Grant & granddaughter Jana, great grandson Noah and by her ten brothers & sisters. A Celebration of Joan's life will be held on Saturday May 20, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Treherne United Church with Rev. Chuck Ross officiating. Interment will take place in the Bethel Cemetery. Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Joan's memory to the Children's Wish Foundation, 350 St. Mary Ave. Winnipeg MB R3C 3J2 or to Muscular Dystrophy Canada, 825 Sherbrook St. #204, Winnipeg MB R3C 1M5 or to a charity of one's choice.
