Passed away at the Tiger Hills Health Centre on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the age of 95 years, John Ernest Moore, of Treherne MB. John leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Kathleen "Kitty" Moore (nee Lawrence), six children Larry of Winnipeg Beach, Barry of Baldur, Jim (Deb) of Balzac AB, Les (Alison) of Balzac AB, Gail (Craig) Cudmore of Winnipeg, Tami (Terry) Romaniuk of Winnipeg; 8 grandchildren, Kara (Mike), Kyle (Tonya), Ashley (Levi), Sharla (Tyrell), Devin (Tarissa), Jordan, Shaina (Darryl), Calen (Alyssa); 6 great grandchildren Rylee, Jaxxen, Carter, Marley, Aiden & Grayson. He is also survived by his sister Emily McTaggart of Portage la Prairie, sisters-in-law Erna Moore of Brandon, Margaret (Mel) Watson of Treherne, Thelma Jackson of Treherne as well as numerous nieces, nephews & friends. John was predeceased by his parents Ernest & Nettie (Thorpe),brothers Bill & Tom Moore, sisters Ede Punton, Alice Eliuk, Dorothy McMurray, Florence Hetherington & Elsie Brooking. A private funeral service with family & close friends will be held on Monday, February 16, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Jamieson Funeral Chapel, Holland MB. Interment will take place in Bethel Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in John's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 824-18th St. Brandon MB, R7A 5B7 or to the Tiger Hills Health Centre, Box 130 Treherne MB R0G 2V0.
