Passed away at the Boundary Trails Health Centre, Winkler MB, on Sunday February 28, 2016 at the age of 86 years, Hugh John Weedmark, of La Riviere MB, & formerly of Belmont MB. John leaves to mourn his passing his wife Eva Deamel, his children Errol Weedmark, Guy (Sharon) Weedmark & Jo-Ann (Daryl) Makinson all of Brandon, two grandchildren Deklan & Rhianna Makinson & by a sister-in-law Beth Unger of Carman MB. He is also survived by Eva's children Marg Remillard (Barrie Dobson)of Manitou, Wayne (Connie) Deamel of Morden, Don (Audrey) Deamel of Selkirk, Kathy (Grant) Baloun of Manitou, Gord (Kim) Deamel of Carman as well as numerous extended family & friends. John was predeceased by his first wife Betty (2009), grandson Adam Makinson, brother Jim Weedmark & by a sister Yvonne (John) Van Dyke. A Celebration of John's life will be held on Saturday March 5, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Blair Morrison Community Hall, La Riviere MB with Rev. Brenda Gibson officiating. An interment will take place at a later date in the Neelin Cemetery, Neelin MB. Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in John's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Unit A1-800 Rosser Ave. Brandon MB R7A 6N5.
