Tony Potvin, formerly of Swan Lake, MB passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2015, at the Prairie View Lodge in Pilot Mound, MB at the age of 88 years. Left to mourn Tony's passing are his wife Clarice "Alice" (nee Verstraete) of Swan Lake, MB, sons Kenny (Gail) of Holland, MB and Daniel (Ade) of Winnipeg, MB, grandchildren Greg (Janice), Chris (Pam), Brian (Jennette), Jennifer (George), Luc, Keith and Annette (Chris), 13 great-grandchildren, and sisters Cecile Dion, Celine, and Laurette Lesage. Tony was predeceased by his parents Alphonse & Maria Ann (nee Bisson), mother & father-in-law Theo & Bertha Verstraete, brothers Filex (Yvonne) and Norbert (Emilienne), sister Irene (Andre) Gagnon, sister-in-law Gerarda Pepper, and brothers - in-law Marcel Dion, Raymond Lesage, Jim Pepper & Louis Jarnouin. Prayers will be held in the Jamieson's Holland Chapel, Holland, MB at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2015. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Swan Lake, MB at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2015. Father John Te Nguyen celebrant. Interment to follow in the St. Martin of Tours Parish Cemetery. Following the interment, a reception will be held in the Swan Lake Community Hall. Everyone is welcome.
