Peacefully while surrounded by her family, Joyce Eleanor Campbell (nee Bonner), formerly of Cypress River MB, passed away at the Glenboro Health Centre on Thursday September 1, 2016 at the age of 86 years. Joyce was born August 8, 1930 at Carman Hospital to Sandy & Nellie Bonner and raised in Roland MB where she took her schooling. Joyce worked at various jobs including the Women's Division of the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1951 where she trained as a medical assistant. She married Ken Campbell on May 10, 1952 and together they raised a family of five children along with 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Joyce was very proud of her children and their families and could often be found helping out with costumes for horse shows, ice shows and school concerts. She spent many hours babysitting "the kids" or driving to their different functions. Joyce leaves to mourn her passing her five children Gordon (Pauline) Campbell of Regina SK, David (Sharon) Campbell of Cypress River, Debbie (Ken) Daymond of Cypress River, Tom (Gail) Campbell of Wawanesa MB, Ellen (Marcel) Lussier of Belmont MB; grandchildren Tammy, Chad, Craig, Shannon, Trent, Heather, Robyn, Justin, Kelly, Bonnie, Christopher, Nicole, April & Jason; great grandchildren Brandon, Dustin, Nyles, Gracie, Ava, Olivia, Brodie, Tori, Kate, Mallory, Colby, Blake, Landry, Dawson, Maverick, London & by one great great grandchild Luna. She is also survived by her sister Dora Bonner of Winnipeg, brother Ivan Bonner of Winnipeg, sisters-in-law Donna Taylor of Belleville Ont., Sharon Cain of Brandon, Rosiland Campbell of Winnipeg, Eva Bonner of London Ont., as well as numerous nieces, nephews & extended relatives. Joyce was predeceased by her husband Ken Campbell in 2009, grandson Scott Campbell & brother David in infancy, brothers Donald & Robert Bonner, sister-in-law Margaret Bonner, brothers-in-law Murray & Rodney Campbell, Carl Nordman, Lou Campbell, Roy Taylor, Joe Cain & James (Margaret) Campbell & by sisters-in-law Leita Nordman & Betty Campbell. A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday September 6, 2016 at the Glencoe Cemetery, Cypress River with Sharon Hamilton officiating.
