After a long and brave battle with cancer, Keith Alexander Lovie, of Holland MB passed away peacefully at the Tiger Hills Health Centre surrounded by his family by his side, on Saturday May 21, 2016 at the age of 84 years. Keith leaves to mourn his passing his five children Heather (Don) Grobb of Treherne, Murray (Lila) Lovie of Holland, Karen Kowbel of Winnipeg, Barbara (Darryl) Gee of Holland, Mark (Angie) Lovie of Brandon, fifteen grandchildren & sixteen great grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers-in-law Floyd (Joan) Darling of Treherne, Harold Mayes of Brandon as well as numerous nieces, nephews & extended family members. Keith was predeceased by his wife Donnie (nee Darling) on April 24, 2016, parents Alex and Ethel (nee Stevenson) & by brothers Grant & Lloyd Lovie. A private funeral service for immediate family members will be held in the Jamieson Holland Funeral Chapel, Thursday May 26, 2016. Interment to follow in the Bethel Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Keith's memory to Cancer Care Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave. Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
