Peacefully on Friday December 16, 2016 at the Foyer Notre Dame with her family by her side, Madeline Maria De Spiegelaere (nee Zeghers) passed away at the age of 95 years. Madeline leaves to mourn her five daughters Adeline Bouwman (Don Richmond) of Swan Lake, Alice (Jake) De Beer of Neepawa, Denise (Eddie) Grift of Brandon, Diane (Rhéal) Simon of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Doreen (René) Hacault of Cypress River; 13 grandchildren Lisa (Roger) Lambert, Bonita (Daren) Van Den Bussche, Laurie (Leonard) De Cosse, Karl Grift, Greg (Janine) Grift, Corey (Amy) Grift, Michel (Allison) Simon, Mark (Lynn) Simon, Richard (Michelle) Simon, Ginette (Ward) Laird, Theresa (Danny) Wills, Patrick (Jennie) Hacault & Mitchell Hacault; 25 grandchildren Riley, Jennesa, Aaron, Kyle, Joey, Kailey, McKenzie, Paige, Kendra, Jason, Gabriella, Zyden, Reese, Lily, Cohen, Clark, Luc, Alex, Bryce, Cam, Natalia, Brody, Kaden, Nathan & Jake, and by 5 great great grandchildren Addyson, Ethen, Kalena, Carter & Trista. Madeline was predeceased by her husband Jerome in 1998 & by son-in-law Ted Bouwman. Special thanks to all the wonderful staff at the Notre Dame Foyer for taking such great care of her. In keeping with mom's wishes, a private family service will take place at a later date.
