Matt McQuay of Cypress River, MB, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at the Glenboro Health Centre at the age of 58 years. Left to mourn Matt's passing are his daughter Rebecca McQuay of Cypress River, MB, sons Christopher (Elena) McQuay of Langdon, AB and Nathan McQuay of Calgary, AB, and grandchildren Gallagher, Ella, Amelia, Enzo, and Ayrton. Also left to mourn Matt's passing are his brother Tim McQuay, sisters Gail Kleebaum and Sherry Cooper, and Brother-in-law Laurent LeCoq, as well as numerous nieces, nephews & friends. Matt was predeceased by his parents William & Alma (nee Gould) McQuay, sisters Bonnie LeCoq and Maureen Lugsden (Howard Smith), brother-in-Law Norman Kleebaum, and mother & father-in-law Cecil & Violet Evans. A graveside service will be held in the Glencoe Cemetery, Cypress River, MB at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2015. Rev. Irene Onuch officiating.
