Passed away at the Rock Lake Health Centre, Crystal City, MB, on Sunday January 1, 2023 at the age of 74 years, Morris August De Ruyck, of Mariapolis, MB.

Morris leaves to mourn his passing his wife Elizabeth, son Andrew (Tanis) De Ruyck of Mariapolis, MB, daughters Karolyn Knee of Brandon, MB, Dawna (Mark) Sloane of Clearwater, MB and Jayne (Chris) Orr of Clearwater, MB; 12 grandchildren Ben, Paige, Jaymes, Tara, Brooklyn, Kevin, Kyle, Todd, Brad, Joslyn, Karl & Brayden and Morris' siblings Lorraine (Denis), Darlene (Rick), Doreen (Henri) and Annette (Dave).

He is also survived by his in-laws Julie (Mel), Minnie (Robert), Fran (Dan), Jeff (Kelly-Ann); as well as Richard (Diane), Dianne, Jim (Pat), Gloria, Shirley (Craig), Lucille (Wilf), Rosemary (Dan), Sharon (Spence), George, and Brenda and by  numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.

Morris was predeceased by his first wife Sandra (nee Parsonage) and her siblings Lily-Anne, Harold & Cherie and by his parents Andre & Clara De Ruyck.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Our Lady of Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Mariapolis, MB, on Friday January 6, 2023 at 11:00 am with Father Vincent Lusty as Celebrant.  Prayers will be held at 10:45 am prior to Mass.  Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery.

Flowers are gratefully declined.  Friends that so wish, memorial donations can be made in Morris' memory to a charity of choice.
