Passed away at the Baldur Personal Care Home on Wednesday April 30, 2014 at the age of 87 years, Rachel Maria De Smet (nee Van Den Bossche), of Baldur MB. Rachel leaves to mourn her passing her three sons Glen (Donna Kerr), Dennis (Kathy) & Jim (Margaret Sigvaldason) all of Baldur and by two grandchildren Holly (Ryan) & Kaylee. She also leaves to mourn her sister Adrienne (Marcel) De Meuleneire of Baldur, brothers Alex Van Den Bossche of Bruxelles & Raymond Van Den Bossche of Holland and a brother-in-law Louis Devos of Notre Dame de Lourdes MB. Rachel was predeceased by her husband Camiel (2008), sister Lorette Devos, brother Jules Van Den Bossche & by sister-in-law Agnes Van Den Bossche. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday May 5, 2014 at 10:30 am in the St. James Catholic Church, Baldur MB, with Father Phillip Malayil as Celebrant. Interment to follow in the Baldur Cemetery. Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made to the Baldur Volunteer Enrichment Group, c/o Baldur Manor, Box 128 Baldur MB R0K 0B0 or to a charity of one's choice.
