Rhoda Isabel Williams (nee Rusk) of Winnipeg, formerly of Glenboro, passed away peacefully in Winnipeg on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the age of 82 years. She leaves to mourn her daughter April (Tom) Fleishmann of Souris MB, son Ron (Shiho) of Australia, and her four much loved grandchildren, Kyle, Barry, Dylan and Jasmine. She is also survived by her brother Bill Rusk of Vancouver B.C., sisters Evelyn Clark of Treherne, Margaret Goodman (Moe) of Winnipeg, Pearl Williams of Comox B.C., Doris Bronstein (Mick) of Winnipeg as well as many nieces and nephews. Rhoda was predeceased by her parents, Elgin and Annie (Down) Rusk, brothers, Norman, Donald and John, sister Patricia Leatherdale, also in-laws, Barbara Rusk, Doris Rusk, Solange Rusk, Gordon Clark, Bob Williams, and Lionel Deroche. A Private Family Celebration of Rhoda's Life & burial of ashes will be held at the Bethel Cemetery, Treherne MB on Saturday August 4, 2018. Memorial donations may be made in Rhoda's memory to a charity of choice. The family wishes to give a heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at 4N Victoria Hospital for their compassionate care. Thanks also to the staff at the Boulton Residence, Charleswood Day Club, home care and especially her many longtime friends. From all of her family - we will always love and miss you - you were one feisty lady.
