Rose Harris (nee Lester), beloved wife of the late Alan Harris, of Holland, MB, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at the Tiger Hills Health Centre in Treherne, MB at the age of 81 years. Left to mourn Rose's passing are daughters Catherine Louise (Wayne) Stewart of Lac du Bonnet, MB, Patricia Lynn (Alex) Christison of Carberry, MB, and Margaret Ann (Al) Prosser of Tilbury, ON, grandchildren Cory (Kim) and Alan (Claudette) Christison, great-granddaughter Raelee Brunka, and brother Alfred Lester, as well as numerous nieces, nephews & friends. Rose was predeceased by her husband Al C. Harris, son B. Charles Harris, parents Ames & Rose (nee Bearman) Lester, and sister-in-law Marj Lester. Memorial service will be held in the Holland United Church at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2014. Sandra Rex officiating. Interment to follow in the Brookdale Cemetery.
