Passed away at the Tiger Hills Health Centre, Treherne MB, on Wednesday August 1, 2018 at the age of 84 years, Rose Marie Gillis (nee Simoens), of Cypress River MB. Rose leaves to mourn her passing her five children Donna (Laurie) Guderyan of Winnipeg, Ken Gillis, Rob (Anita) Gillis & Les (Corinne) Gillis all of Cypress River and Jody (Greg) Spitula of Winnipeg; ten grandchildren Jaret, Cole, Connor, Jenna, Reece, Bree (Mike), Amy, Reid, Riley & Jordyn; brothers Gerry Simoens of Winnipeg, Norbert (Annis) Simoens of Holland, Andre (Liane) Simoens of Winnipeg, Dennis (Alice) Simoens of Morden, Daniel (Anita) Simoens of Treherne; She is also survived by brothers & sisters-in-law Ron Campbell of Winnipeg, Gary (Jeanette) Gillis of Winnipeg & Juliana Tack of Bruxelles. Rose was predeceased by her husband Albert in Oct 2016, parents Albert & Hélène Simoens, sisters Lorraine Campbell, Alice (Johnny) Chevalier, Angie (Henry) Durand, brother Jean (Gertrude) Simoens; in-laws Rene Tack, Loretta (Marcel) Bertouille and Angie Simoens. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday August 7, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the St. Alphonse Catholic Church, St. Alphonse MB, with Father Jose Montepeque as Celebrant. Interment to follow in the St. Alphonse Parish Cemetery. Following the interment a reception will be held in the St. Alphonse Community Hall. Everyone is welcome.
