Vada Miller (nee Orr) of Belmont, MB, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014, at the Glenboro Personal Care Home at the age of 100 years. Left to mourn Vada's passing are her daughters Lois (Gerry) Will of Brandon, MB, Ann O'Larie of Hamilton, ON, Maxine (Ken) Wood of Edmonton, AB, and Eva Miller of Belmont, MB, sons Orton (Linda) Miller of Killarney, MB, Morley Miller and Eddie Miller of Winnipeg, MB, Raymond (Leona) Miller of Ninette, MB, and Allan Miller of Winnipeg, MB, 21 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and son-in-law Lyle Shirton of Barrie, ON, as well as numerous nieces & nephews. Vada was predeceased by her husband Robert Miller, daughter Sharon Shirton, daughter-in-law Monika Miller, parents Samuel & Elizabeth (nee Harris) Orr, sisters Adeline, Lillian, Eva and Delcie, and brothers Wallace, Charlie & Louis. A Graveside service will be held in the Ninette Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2015, with Helen Delorme officiating. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Vada's memory to The Canadian Diabetes Association, 727 10th St, Brandon, MB R7A 4G7, or to a charity of one's choice.
