Celebration of Life ~ Vera

Vera Bjornson, a widely known and loved music teacher and selfless wife, mom, and Amma passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 1st, 2024 at the age of 76 years.

Vera will be deeply missed and treasured by her proud family: husband Steve; children Loren (Sheldon) Gurr, Corey (Larissa) Bjornson, Karyn Bjornson, Daryl (Yvonne) Bjornson; grandchildren Mason (Lauren), Nash, Ella, Julianna, Naomi, Theo, Mykenna, Breelyn, and Prestley; siblings Morris (Barb) Drummond, Dave (Janice) Drummond; sisters-in-law Debbie Drummond, Brenda Tosh, Corinne Torgerson; brother-in-law John (Lorene) Bjornson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The communities of Glenboro and Holland, and the whole provincial music community share in their grief.

A Celebration of Vera's Life will be held on Saturday, December 14th, 2024 at 12pm at the Glenboro Kinsmen Community Hall. A private family interment will take place at the Glenboro Cemetery.
