Lynda Manning Obituary

It is with heavy hearts but fond memories that we announce the passing of Lynda Mae Manning (nee Andrews) peacefully at the Tri-Lake Health Centre, Killarney, Mb. on Sunday January 17, 2021 with family by her side.

Lynda was born September 16th, 1945, the third child of Jack and Evelyn Andrews & lived the majority of her life in Belmont. She was married October 10th, 1964 to Ron Manning and together they raised three sons. Lynda worked for several years at the Pelican Lake Training Centre as well as supporting her husband in his business.

Lynda leaves to mourn her passing son Daryle Manning and wife Tracy of Belmont, MB, son Gord Manning and his wife Barb of Ninette, MB and son Shawn Manning of Belmont, MB; grandson Jason Manning and his wife Jennalee and great grandson Rhett, grandson Cody Manning, granddaughter Tess Manning and her partner Justin Mellin.

Lynda is also survived by her sister Shirley Hudson (husband Ken) of Hamiota, MB, sister Joan Stephenson of Belmont, MB and brother Don Andrews also of Belmont, MB; sisters-in-law Carol Purves of Red Deer, AB, Barbara McNish of Nesbitt, MB, Gwen Fidler of Belmont, MB and Betty Manning of Belmont, MB as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lynda was predeceased by her husband Ron Manning (1999), her parents Jack (1968) and Evelyn (2000), brother Bruce Andrews (1990), parents-in-law Billy and Grace Manning, Ron's siblings Joe, Jim, George, Ken, Mary, Ede and Kay & by special friend Fran Belanger.

Lynda's life revolved around her family. Being a person of quiet dignity, she faced life with a positive outlook and a gentle manner. She asked very little of others, yet gave so readily of herself. Being such a caring person, she was always ready to help out family or friends when ever needed in a loving selfless way that will be missed. Rest in peace dear Lynda!

Due to Covid restrictions, a Funeral Service for family members will be held on Saturday January 23, 2021 in the Willmor Chapel, Glenboro, MB, with Sharon Hamilton officiating. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery, Belmont, MB.
Service will be available to view online at 4:00 pm at www.willmorchapel.com.
Memorial donations may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba, 1160-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or to the Tri-Lake Palliative Care Unit, Box 5000, Killarney, MB, R0K 1G0.
