Moray Jamieson

Funeral Director

As a second-generation funeral director, Moray has dedicated his life to serving families and communities, continuing the legacy established by his father, Bill Jamieson. With more than three decades of experience in funeral service, Moray earned his embalmer’s licence while working at Brockie Donovan in Brandon and later received his funeral director’s licence under the guidance of his father.
Moray, his wife Arlie, and their children, Dayna and Turner, spent several years in Kamloops, British Columbia, where he worked with Schoening Funeral Service. Drawn back to their roots, the family returned to Glenboro, where Moray continued to grow the family business and strengthen its commitment to the communities it serves.
A significant milestone came in 1999 with the construction of a new funeral home facility. In April 2000, the chapel was dedicated as Willmor Chapel, a lasting tribute to Bill Jamieson’s vision and dedication to funeral service.
Moray has served two terms on the Manitoba Funeral Directors Association and is a member of the Funeral Service Association of Canada. Beyond his profession, he has devoted 29 years to the Glenboro-South Cypress Fire Department and remains actively involved in numerous community organizations throughout the region.
Whether spending time outdoors, enjoying activities with family and friends, or supporting families through life's most difficult moments, Moray’s passion for service continues to guide both his professional and community involvement.
