My name is Ken Johnson and I started the "Manitoba Mini Golf Tour" in 1988 which Dr. Perry Hurton won. His prize was a 5 foot Toothbrush. Dr. Hurton was a customer who bought dental supplies & equipment from me but became a cherished friend and member of our golf tour. Perry provided us with countless hours of entertainment and we were all sad to see him unable to attend as time went on and the vigor of the tour just go to be too much. I'm thankful that I got to see Perry last April in the Care Home in Glenboro and even more thankful he remembered me. He woke up from his wheel chair and said "Hi Kenny, how are all the guys?" My heart melted. I'd been warned by his son that he may not remember me. We had a good chat and he asked if we were still "crappy golfers" and I took a picture & sent it to all the members of our tour. Unfortunately I'm unable to attend his service but my thoughts & prayers will be with his family. He was just a great guy and very missed on our golf tour. Ken Johnson

Lloyd & I would like to extend out deepest sympathy to the Hurton family. I have fond memories of serving on the BGTW Board with your Dad for many years. He was always the voice of reason and made the meetings very enjoyable & productive.
