So sorry to hear of Lena’s passing. She was such a dedicated member And diligent worker in the organizations she belonged to including the Glenboro Legion Auxiliary, UCW, United Church Choir. She was a Dancing Grandmother who performed in many venues in the area during the 1980’s & early 1990’s. She even decorated cakes as she did our wedding cake 43 years ago. She had a genuine interest in lives of those she knew. She’ll be greatly missed by many. Heartfelt sympathy to her family.

it is with greatsaddness i hear of your Grandmother .. a close friend and someone who worked hard, her Church ,, family and her garden..\ I was lucky to have Lena work for me years ago at the greenhouse and help me with the flower shop in Trehene and most of all just someone who was there as a Good Christian who walked her faith and \Love of God .. Will always remmber the visits over the years when home .to see family and friends.. I consider Lena as family and lloked forward to the visits , we shared.. the times laughter and just knowing of the love of flowers and our church.. we could share ..the later years when she had a stroke,, The comeback,, the strength and courage .makes one tough lady who could do anything ..
Only God needed another Angel to help him,, My prayers .My love .. and the psalm 23 says it best and knowing Grandma Lena she iis there tending a new garden and love ..God's love to you.. in your Grief..but Grandma is helping spread the words of love and encouragement ..and helping others..
love always ..William Thompson....Grande Cache Alberta
